I've not posted much here, but I've been an avid reader. I've wanted to fix up my garage (we have a double and a single - the double is for the family junk and SUV), so decided to do it over the Xmas break, partly in anticipation of a new car that was due in April, but now due in Feb.
Anyway, after much reading, and weeks of indecision over the floor (epoxy vs plastic tile vs VCT), I got on with it. I went with Motofloor tiles (the B&W from Costco as they were cheapest, and the reds from Bigfloors). No issues at all with them, though they've only been down a couple of days.
The lower walls are cedar-framed corrugated steel (the normal stuff from HD), with 12v LED strip lighting like this controlled from an occupancy sensor. I still need to add some finishing touches, but it's 99% done. For now.
All the pics are here, thanks to many of you for the advice that you might not realize you provided
