Hi all,
I've been lurking here for about a month... can't believe that a site exists like this. Seen some awesome garages and wish my budget was higher (it isn't... just checked).
Here is my little garage where I work on the bikes (more bike guy then car... but will build a rat rod one day).
The garage is 11.5 x 26', with a 12x15 office on the side. I've got heat and AC (both needed in Canada), but there is still work to do. Part of the garage is insulated, however there is non in the roof nor the addition.
Anyway, here are the pics:
The first day I had it (moved in winter... urg).
Garage
Outside (later)
Office
Full of bikes/tools
I'm going to add more circuits to the garage, including a stand-alone for a 230V welder.
One question on that.... What amperage should that circuit handle? I've seen most lincoln/miller welders are looking for 60 amp. Should I build this circuit for this much power? Most of the work would be on bikes/cars frames.
I'll get some more updated photo's soon.
