we do annual and semi annual services on wheeled vehicles at work. I had a military issued general mechanics tool kit but my tool drawers usually ended up on the ground .I hate that! also im usually carrying around a slegdehammer or a battery of large vehicle components. So i bolted a small toolbox onto my little cart giving me room to slide prypars and larger items under it .I also plan to mount hooks onto the plywood on the outside to hang compressor hose and extension cord, I know its kinda cheap looking but I just hate my tools on the ground and didnt want to spend alot

Looks good. I believe that when you can customize something like this so it is perfect for the job at hand everything just works better

good improvisation... It will evolve as time goes on.
I would have bolted the box on the other way around so that tall things in the top of the cart don't hinder drawer operation (YMMV).

thought of that but anything on the top part will be lying prypars , or small parts like light bulbs,belts filters, and manuals . pretty much the bottom will be for batteries or large consumables

A peice of aluminum angle iron with holes driled in it, would work, if you wanted to get fancy you could cut notches that would allow you to slide the screwdriver out sideway, or be pulled though the top.

This is how I dealt with my prybars- 4 peices of square tube and a peice of flat stock.
