Been perusing GJ for a long time now. Thought I would share some pics of my little shop. It is 24' wide 32' deep. Would love for it to have taller ceilings, but oh well I guess. Work on cars and trucks in it, and do some fabrication. Been into offroading for a long time now. Do some wood working now and again, not the greatest at it though.

Just wanted to share some pics, its not much, but I love it more than my house

If anyone has a suggestions on getting better organized that'd be great.

looks like a nice place to hang out and get some work done.

What is that tool cart under the A/C unit?

Nice shop man. I like it!

Reminds me of my uncles shop.

Thanks man.

Thanks. Don't know what it is. Just an old toolbox one of my buddys gave me. Use it as a catchall. Its heavy as hell and I've never really seen another one like it.

I also love being in my garage more than the house. There are days that I spend a lot of time in there really doing nothing but love it. My garage is dedicated to old cars.

Your place looks nice and seems organized enough to me.

Looks organized to me. If you want a cleaner look you need to add some doors to the shelves, paint the rack for the stereo black and maybe get the woofer off the floor. Things on legs make a room bigger.

Also look to see what you can do with various strung up wires. I'd look into consolidating your metals into a rack, making a rack for the spray cans and maybe painting the wood frame on the bench to a neutral color.

A shop can have a color theme with neutrals to make things less obvious, lighter shades like your paneling and an accent. The thing is, no more than 3-4 colors to a room. As you can see if you look at Jack's garage, he has 3 main colors, some black and some bare metal or bare metal look. He has the background of tan, the main color of green and the accent is the red. The black is also an accent but of a different nature. The metal look is only a very subtle accent. It just helps to break up some of the large areas of other colors.

You've got the bones there to do as much or as little towards that level of 'neatness'.

Looks good. Music system, fridge with the appropriate beverages I assume, neon lights, where are the strippers? You know, for the wires. ;)
