my matco score!

ok, i was at a shop today waiting for my work van to get a new a/c compressor put in it and i was wandering around talking with random people and i happened to ask this guy if he knew anyone with any tool boxes they were looking to offload, and he handed me a key and told me to go out back and look in his storage garage. i did, and when i opened the door, there was a 56" snap on box that had fallen off a truck, and on top was a craftsman top box and an older matco top and middle box. i went back in and asked him how much for the matco pair and he responded with how much do u want to offer me. i hate that question because i dont want to insult the guy with a low offer, nor do i want to pay him anymore than he is expecting to get out of them. im cheap. so expecting to get laughed at i said 100, and he just as quick as it came out of my mouth responed with "deal". so i emptied out the contents of the boxes, threw them into my van and took off with a huge smile! happy about my matco boxes, and that i finally have a/c again!

i dont know much about them yet, so any input would be wonderful. age? worth? lets hear all you have to say!

funny story... i know the picture *****, thats why i said before that i was waiting for my g/f to come home so i could use the camera, and this is where it gets funny... she went with one of the girls she works with to some music thing in milwaukee which is give or take an hour and a half drive away. she calls me a little while ago and says they didnt even look at their tickets but when they got to the booth and handed them to the lady at the admition booth, the lady handed them back and said sorry those tickets were for last nights show! i couldnt stop laughing, thought id share.
