I just found this site last week. I have seen allot of great ideas so far.

Here is my mess. It's a 24X28 with 10 foot walls, on a monolithic slab. My Dad and I built it 9 years ago. Although I did hire out the concrete.

Is the dip for a miter saw? Were you actually able to stow away all the stuff or is it off stage right?

Nice wrap around work area!

Yes the mitre saw will go in the lower part of the bench. It is one of my most used tools and it has been on a black and decker workmate for 11 years :)

I built my house, garage, and a pole barn with it.

So far I havent moved all the stuff into the cabinets. I hope to trim out the benches this weekend. I want to add some drawers and doors.

All the stuff is on the south wall, I just moved the shelves over there while doing the walls, north (mitre saw) and east (cabinets).

I put a pull down stairs in the ceiling and have a 8' X 24" storage area above the trusses. I also put a 2' X 24' storage area above the cabinets.
