All in all a $300 set. More like a collection as I doubt they will come out to play much.

Tools are so addicting. I'm proud of my collection. Someday maybe I'll use them. The hunt for high quality affordable 3/4 drive stuff was fun.

I only have a set of Chinese 3/4" stuff, but it does come in handy now and then, even if you aren't working on heavy equipment or anything like that.

I have to admit I'm just a little bit jealous of that Proto ratchet. That's one place the Chinese sets aren't all that confidence inspiring.

That's a nice set. I bought an old vintage set 35 years ago for 50. 1"-2 1/4" Heinz 57 set including Thorsen, Blackhawk, Challenger, Proto, Snap on and a name or two I can't remember. I have a tee handle, breaker, two extensions and a Williams ratchet. I also have a 36" Snap on ratchet and breaker and a Snap on tee handle setup. I was on the lookout for inexpensive new sockets, but cleaned mine up and decided that they were as good as or better than any of the lower cost new sockets. I would like to get some larger size Metrics one day.

Very. Nice

I also have a mismatched 3/4 drive collection. Bunch of cm, some SK, and a snap on, Napa, Mac, Proto, new Britain, Williams. SK ratchet and cm and thorsen extension, tekton breaker bar. Bout them all in all lots on eBay, sold the duplicates that I ended up on there as well.

It gets addicting and I even started collecting 1 inch drive impact but they are a lot harder to find in good brands for cheap

Very nice set. Even if you don't need them daily you'll be happy when you do need a large socket or some good American muscle for leverage.

I started out piecing together a set and then it turned into more and then more and then too much and now I guess it's a bit of a collection of 3/4 drive and 1".

Everybody who turns any kind of bolts ought to have a 3/4 ratchet or breaker bar with a reducer for those just in case times. The good part is they can be had on the cheap quite often.

the proto ratchet was brand new scored on ebay from a nice lady in Kansas. The big proto is a 24 toother. I super lubed it. It is model no J 5649

Nice set there. I got very lucky and got a unused snap on 3/4 drive set 9/16 to 1 1/2 for $30 at a pawn shop people didn't know what they had.

That's good news. They usually want more than retail for anything nice.

Those Proto 3/4" drive ratchets are very nice. I scored mine on eBay the same way... new and all

I too got my 3/4 Proto on ebay from a little old lady who only wrenched with it on Sundays. I was pretty happy with it for a while, but now my Armstrong 22-906 (ebay, very well used) makes it look wimpy.
