Hi All, long time looker, small time poster. I just recently got my garage to where its worth posting a few pics. Its not as nice as some of yours but its mine! I bought a house a few years back with an attached 2 bay garage. To me its on the small size since i came from a 7 bay garage at my fathers house, which i still use all the time. I plan on building a detached oversized 3 bay in the future but its not going to happen right now. Here are pics of my 2 bay now that i have modified it. The garage is 26'x26' and had a 10'2" ceiling with a trussed roof. I re-engineered the trusses over one bay and raised the ceiling to 13'5". I also cut my existing garage door track to make it open on an angle following the ceiling. I plan on installing a Liftmaster 3800 in the near future. I also still have lots to do as far as finishing painting the walls, installing more lighting, and floor painting.
My garage now allows me to park my lifted F-150 under my lift and allows me to park my 3 vehicles and 2 motorcycles inside at all times.
enjoy-
Raised ceiling with new lighting
garage door opens up out of the way
The truck is a tight fit. I had to install lift spacers under the lift fit to allow the truck to fit. I have about 1" of clearance between my truck roof and bottom of the lift runways. I then bolted the lift to the floor.
sorry for the poor quality of the next pics, the lighting is hard on the pics.
looking out into the garage from my interior house door.
I installed the rear man door last summer. Had to rent a concrete chainsaw and cut the sill out. That door is extremely handy and allows me walkout access to the back yard now.
Also, my garage is fully heated with the hot water modine hanging from the ceiling.
thanks for looking
