Today i finished round 2 of the multi tool that i have been messing with. I had to wait for a friend of mine to machine a rabbit down the center of the hammer head that i cut off of a hammer that one of the claws broke off of. It is not perfect yet i am sneeking up on it. Right now the entire thing has a weight of 3 pounds. The actual hammer head was from a Hart 20 oz finish hammer. At this point i would like the entire added section to be tighter to the wrench body, and i will make the 1/2" plate section smaller. Saturday morning i will beat on this thing and see what i come up with, stay tuned for the spammer review.

That's a pretty slick idea.......I might find myself at some garage sales to get some old tools to try this myself when Santa brings my welder

The head over all is 1.250", it only sticks past the plate section 3/8" on each side. By adding the head only raised the top by 1/2". sure, it is not going to fit into a tight spot, but it still has it's uses. I drove 5 1/2"x5 lags into a section of a para lam to the point that the bolts started to bend, but it did it, then i used the crescent to remove them. I was concerned that after pounding on this thing that the adjuster section might want to fall apart. All went well, so far.
I will beat on this thing some more and re engineer it to my liking as needed.
Now, if i could only make this thing out of unobtainium!
