A blank slate.

First step is to clean the floor, then start moving stuff in from my old location.

That looks nice, 20' wide door?! How tall is the ceiling height? Is the concrete stained?

Thanks .. Doors at both ends are 18' wide. Ceiling is pitched, from 14' to 18'. The floors are stained and sealed.

Still need to get the door openers installed and settled on an electrical layout with the electrician. The lights are wired and I have outlets in each corner right now.

Did you get an oversized storage unit? ;) Thats awesome the floor is already done and good to go.

It is a space at a collector car community/storage facility. They allow full customization, including lifts. I will be running the detail business out of this space.

There's another member on here that has the same sort of place. Not sure if it's in the same area or not, and I can't remember his name, but he has a blue Camaro. I think he has a double wide space and he added a loft in his.

Hopefully another member will remember who it is. You never know, you might be neighbors.

Started moving stuff in this weekend. My wife and son cleaned the front half the floor for me.

I managed to get the Kwiklift put together and the car up in the air.

I still have to decide where I want to put things so I can get with the electrician and get the rest of the circuits run.

'66 Goat? Yours? Nice!

Yes it is a '66. It is mine .. I am going to work on my own vehicle for a change, but I need to get the detailing side of the shop set up first since I have customers scheduled starting next weekend.

Good luck with the detailing work! Might be able to get business from adjacent garages at the facility, huh. . . ?

Hard to beat those '66-67 GTO's and 442's. Good looking cars and my favorite muscles cars. Here are three '66-67 442's plus a Steadykicker all lined up. Mine is the first one.

Love the '66 Goat!!!!! I had a gold one years and years ago, and it was a screamin' sumbitch. It was probably one of the top three cars I owned that I really miss.

Looking forward to seeing more pics as you get things setup. And if you have anymore pics of the Goat....by all means, post them up.

I hope so. There is a nice mix of cars here, so hopefully I can find some additional customers. That is a good looking car.

Spent all weekend working on a 2005 GTO, so I didn't get a lot done. I did decide that it made more sense to have the car on the other wall, so I am going to move it and put my boxes on the wall with the studs exposed.

The electrician should be stopping by this week to install some additional outlets.

Moving that big job box around myself was a bear until it occurred to me to use the car dollies. It weighs 325# or so empty.
