Looks very good! I'd be just as excited. I built a 10x16 shed the same way, filled the inside after setting the 4x4 supports 18" deep. I noticed your using the same plan, will this type of building pass code? I don't have any construction experience, what your building looks very professional so thought I'd ask. Looking forward to seeing more.

Although I am outside the city limits I have been very carefull to follow city code as our area has been subject to annexation twice now. It is just a matter of time before the city succeeds.

Got a call from my contractor this evening. I was originally scheduled for roof and walls on the 22nd. However, rainy weather at one job site means they can swap schedules and be here tomorrow.

Price to build? Interior finishing plans? Hvac? Is it high enough to put a lift in?

Post truss build with 4" slab, 3 windows, steel entry door, 10'x10' roll up and radiant barrier foil insulation was under $18,000 turn key. I had the driveway extended an additional 12' for $720 and the electrician is charging me $620 to run power from the house on Monday.

I'll handle the build-out myself starting with wiring tomorrow.

Once it finishes curing I'll stain and seal the floor.

Plans are for full length butcher block workbench with storage underneath for roll-arounds on the back wall. A 4'x10' pegboard center section with cabinets and task lighting.

Walls will be corrugated metal but I haven't decided if they will be full length or with wainscoting on the lower half. R-19 insulation all the way around.

Ceiling will be white metal sheet like the roof.

No room for a lift with just 10' ceilings. I would have liked a dedicated paint booth too but I had to stop somewhere.

Front wall will have my old 52" plasma, xbox one and my 1946 Philco Refrigerator.

Of course there will be lots of vintage signage and neon.

I like it. Especially the 68 coupe . I am in the planning stages for mine, but I am unsure how big I can go. The house has to be built first then I can see how wide I can go. I may do 24 - 26 wide an hopefully 36 - 40 deep. Depends on the $ and the HOA. Then I can get my 67 and 65 back from storage and get back to welding.
