Nice, I really like the rasied seem metal roof. Looks like you are moving in. Are you planning any wall and floor treatments. So bring on the pictures upstairs.

OMG - what a masterpiece so far!
This site should change it's name to "My Garage is Better tha yours"!! :rocker:
Where do the stairs go?? :headscrat
What kind of work do are you in and what do you like to do in the shop (metalwork, mechanical, other skills?).
Looking forward to seeing this one finished!

I tried to call the number on the side of the van and there is not enough numbers...LOL

I remember the days of two letters and 5 numbers. Ours was WA5-xxxx or current version 925-xxxx and if you were inside the WA area you dialed on a rotary dial the 5 numbers (By the way, for you younger guys and gals, that is not short for Washington, it is short for "92" on the telephone pad and why Walnut?, and I have no idea why Walnut, since the closest Walnut is 300 mile away...). Our WA5-xxxx was from the late 50's; 5057 must have been from the 40's???

the stairs go to a parts storage loft...I build traditional hot rods and customs and do restorations...strictly for my self...so i guess you could say that everything goes on in my garage

It's a nice space, but it is way out of proportion from the front. And the big door isn't centered. I like the exterior finishes, but I couldn't live with that design.

Nice and big inside though.

Sweet looking garage! I really like the transoms. How long/high is that stair run? I've got a 13 ft ceiling in mine and I'm trying to figure out where to put the stairs.

Thanks

I found the one comment interesting since the first picture really impressed me. Looks like a nice location, and an atractive building for sure. I like the windows above the doors, and the high celings. That building will be very useful. I like it a lot. For the garage, I go more function than form anyhow. But I think this one hits on all cylinders.

Excellent! If possible, can you show progress shots on the '31 as it goes along? I dig the parts list. I'm just itchin' to get my place built so I can dive into a project.
