Luckily the rock bed is shallow and the dig was done quickly.

The framers came on Saturday and built the walls. The 16' walls were heavier than expected.

I asked my builder how they planned to get the trusses up. The crane made short work of the overhead work.

The roof was sheeted and trimmed. This was about hour twelve of the day, the crew was on point today. Time to enjoy a cold one!

Had a work trip and came home to the building being insulated and chicken wired. A view from within so I can get the vertical hung garage door and clear a two post lift.

Re: My New Arizona Shop 25x40

Well that's the pictures for now, will update as the progress happens. The garage door is ordered and the I am trying to figure out how much concrete to order. Hopefully I will have an update soon.

Looking great! I'm also going to have a free standing garage built - about the same size (26x40) but in Phoenix I can't be over 15' tall, so I'm jealous as to your ceiling height!
What is your garage door size? I'm going with a 20' wide and 10' tall.

I'm up in North Phoenix so I am under Maricopa County rules. The garage door is going to be 18' wide and 8' tall as i only have classic cars. Additionally the door will go up vertically so I can put a lift inside.
