Been working on the install all weekend. Tested it with the Bronco. Sat a little uneven due to placement of the arms. Bronco's have some unusual placement of some of its frame members and brake lines. I think I will order the screw adjustable pads just because of this problem. I added a service shut-off with a 220 outlet and a 115v quad oulet. My safety switch was too short as others have mentioned here. I was really disappointed at the size of the reservoir fill opening. Waht a pain to fill. Oh, and the instructions says to just fill with 4 gals of fluid... I will not hold the 4 gals until it has been bled (avoidable mess if this was more clear). Other wise I'm very pleased with the quality and operation of it. It's actually not as loud as I thought it was going to be. It's installed in my 40x60 shop 12' eaves.

Nice shop you have there, that lift just sorta makes it real doesn't it!
What do you use those box fans for up above your work area?

Yes, that is the one used on the Mohawk 7 and 10K lifts. I knew it would read a little off due to the different cyl size. For me it appears to read 1k lower than the actual weight. I can live with that discrepancy. I wish Bendpak would offer this option.

Thanks for posting that particular pic. Now I know where to connect my gauge!

Nice toys/shop :)

How far from the workbench are the columns?. I'm wrestling with this a bit for my maxjax install.

I have a few Broncos around here to lift - '96 EB, a '69 sport, and my son's '72.

Nice toy box, what size is your shop? With that array of what 44 fans, I would wonder if you lived on the gulf coast w/the fishing goodies and all, it gets that hot in your area?

Well done, I like the use of the stored trailer once its back in the shop, reclaim that storage space!

The beam is not rated for any additional structural loads. I have two detatchable posts that can be set at any point along the beam like a gantry hoist and they accept the load (there is a post here somewhere showing the details). I made the whole thing myself. Mainly for supporting the bow of the boat so I can remove it from the trailer when needed.
Thanks for all of the nice comments...

I went with the OEM recommendation of 11' from the nearest obstruction to the center of each lift post. Probably could have gone with only 10', but I thought I might regret it one day for something unforseen.

I have 12 fans in my shop. My BAF is better than all of them combined and is totaly sielnt. The Black fans are a total waste. They are just loud and add more heat to the shop @ 5 amps each. Total waste of money. The BAF is simply awsome!

I have the wide config. Still wish it was wider... I did not realize that my trailer wheel base was so wide, as I planned to keep the boat parked in its usual spot after installing the lift. Now its really tight. Sure I could park the boat off to the side of the lift but I wanted to minimize the amount of manuvering just to avoid other potential acidents. I can live with it, after all, I can hardly believe that I have a lift now...:)

Nice shop, that's a great looking lift. I spy a G0484 - I have one of it's sisters, the G0519. Great tool. Plastic door to contain flying chips?

I actually have clear shower curtains that I can surround the mill in an attempt to control those chips during facemilling or fly cutting (the biggest mess makers for me).

Good idea - yes, they are serious chip flingers. I mount the shop vac hose on the table to catch a lot of it, but it still goes everywhere. I like the shower curtain idea.

HAP - bringing back an old thread, but can you explain your electrical set up? Looks like you have 10guage service cord into a disconnect box, that then branches out to the 240V line for the ift, and a 120V line for the outlet?

I'd like to put an outlet on the post as well, but I was assuming I'd have to bring in 2 separate lines, one 10/2 wire specifically for the motor and one 12/2 for an outlet.

Ditto, realize this is old but you have removed the lobotimizers on your Bronco frame, right? IE the factory frame alignment dowels? Gives you more options for pad placement and lets you keep higher reasoning functions too. It's a win-win.
