First let me say you're an ******* for scoring that freebie! I think I'm going to be SICK! I kid, I kid, but you're still an as.....oh nevermind.

That looks like a SB705 pump from the pic. You could put a single phase 5hp motor on that unit and save the trouble of trying to build a phase converter powerfull enough to run it. If you are going to buy parts for the pump, be advised were some revisions. The earlier pumps had cast iron con rods and the newer ones had aluminum.

Great find and good luck getting her back in operation.

I've rebuilt 705 clones, and I haven't had any complaints from those who purchased them. The castings on some are a bit rough, but that is simply cosmetic and can be ground and painted.

My opinion is....keep them full of oil and don't turn them any faster than the Saylor Beall specs, and they will outlive you.

Definately looks to be a clone. If the fasteners are metric, it's an import. If they are standard, it's a Saylor-Beall.

Check fleabay for motors. I was eyeballing some 5hp single phases for ~$450 last year, until I found an ooooooold GE (also on ebay) for $100 that'll probably outlive anything made in the last 20 years.

The tank (How is?) Very old ...

Hydrostatic testing is better to do.

Does anyone have a diagram on how to hook up the unloader valves.... Looking at some other brands mines not right...

Mine runs from the unloader on the pump to the pressure switch.... The ones I;m seeing run from the pump to the check valve.... So which way is the right way....

Wonder at what pressure the tank failed?

I don't understand the vid's narrator! *L*

I can not say, I just think better check technical standards for old cylinders, better find specialized companies to test.
Many accidents happen with air tanks.
