Stopped by the local used tool store to look around. We were already in the area buying a cement mixer, and I figured we could find a few things.

I got a Chinese brass hammer for 9 bucks, then we heard they have a warehouse down the street. Found this guy tucked away in the very back, 24 deep by 22 wide. By the looks of the metal chips inside, it was used at a machine shop.

Slides are good, no dividers, but the only rear damage is a wrinkled bit of metal on the back, and a loose lock latch. Price? $80. Couldn't get the truck loaded fast enough. Made I USA I believe, but I couldn't find much info online for this size. Any education on my new cabinet would be appreciated.

Either going to keep it at home for storage, maybe work as a replacement for a cabinet I have. Various drawers sold me, I can keep power tools in the lowest one.

I thought the bottom would make a great place for power tools. Pneumatic tools in there too. So many options with that many drawers.

In case you have not seen it yet, Equipto is still in business. I was able to order parts thru McMaster Carr for mine. Nice score.

Good deal. IIRC those cabinets use traditional ball bearing style slides instead of the ball bearing roller slides of the standard 28" wide cabinets. Giving a rating of "only" ~200lbs or so vs the 28" cabinets at about twice that.

YOU ****! Please dont let to many people know about Equipto, they are relatively unknown mfg of heavy duty storage.

Congrats on a killer deal and excellent cabinet.

Do yourself a favor and skip the OEM dividers and just buy the Schaller red bins - http://www.schallercorporation.com/

btw those slides look the same as the ones I have on my 36"x24"x6" drawers rated @ 500lbs...
