i haven't used my compressor since I got this other than to air up a new motorcycle tire. When I clean my bike I blow everything out all of the nooks and crannies. I rinse off under the hood of my 3 vehicles. It's variable speed so I can use it to blow off my work bench without over doing it. It's nice to just grab it and go blow off whatever it is needs blowing. I can do the bike on the curb. It seems a little expensive for what it is but it's nice not having to drag an air hose around to dust things off. I think I use it more to dust things off just because I can.

I've been meaning to pick one of these knock offs up to try out for a while now, https://www.amazon.com/Cordless-Mil...Inflating/dp/B0CDB9RLM8/?tag=atomicindus08-20. I'm pretty sure the knock off has been around longer then the milwaukee . I've bought a few m18 non milwaukee tools from amazon, hot glue gun, tile ********, power supply adapters, and a few more I'm forgetting. All have worked good so far and they are all tools I rarely use so nice to have a cheaper option for something that sits around 99% of it's life.

Nephew had one of those at the lake last weekend, worked great for blowing off the deck.

The price they want for that is absolute robbery! I'm perfectly fine with my my two M18 powered Mellifs (Makita copies) that I paid $50 & $20 as well as the new Hyper Tough for $35 w/ battery.

I paid $99 for my full size M18 blower from Home Depot (& added a stubby nozzle on it). I can not fathom what makes their "precision" blower sell for $179 besides greed & marketing.

It's the equivalent of $160 here in Europe.

Anyone have a guess of the price breakdown of that $179? Design, materials, manufacture, shipping, retail, after sales support, profit...
