My girlfriend and I just recent purchased our first house. She was excited to have a house, I was excited to have a garage of my own. I previously shared with my dad whom I love to death but is not the neatest worker I have ever known.

Now it's nothing crazy fancy. I prefer the simplistic approach.

Added in some shelves and a table I built for working on the bikes. On my list is the floor because stuff is always ending up on the floor, oil, gas, gear oil, brake fluid, etc. Epoxy coat will eventually get done but not right away.

Just thought I would share. Thanks!

Looks like you joined in Dec but didn't post until today. Welcome to GarageJournal! That's a nice space you have there. Any future plans for it?

Btw, nice color choice. Can't go wrong with red & grey.

You are off to a great start with the space!

For the floor, if you can't get to putting down the epoxy now, spray a couple coats of water seal on the concrete. I did this and it makes sweeping up a breeze along with minimizing the stains on the floor.
