I leased this building to work out of. First garage I've had! :bounce:

its 28x30 with 10'6'' ceilings, 10' door on one side and a smaller 7' door on the other. Its insulated, heated, wired with 120v and 220v, has a sink and a pisser!

I'm most likely going to buy a hoist also.

Built a 10' long tool bench, and hung some new florescent lights.:shocking:

heres some pictures.

ignore the sticker on the red box, i bought it from a friend and it needs to be removed.

I need to get some ramps or something for the back door, any one have any ideas?

Sweet! I love the urinal!
You need a fridge for adult beverages. Pegboard is a favorite of mine too.
As for the ramp, I would just get a load of dirt and gravel, I know your leasing it but thats probably still the best way to go.

Evan,
I'm right next to Rochester (Troy, MI)! Did you have much trouble finding a garage to lease in the area? I've been thinking about doing the same, so I can store & work on my '57 Chevys.

I found mine kinda by accident. There was just a sign off Auburn rd that said garage for rent. I really lucked out. Theres a basic 3 car garage behind mine that was also for rent. One of my friends all ready grabbed that one up.:(

My best guess would be to look on Craig's list.

Wow, I'm only 2 miles south of Auburn Rd. Good thing you found it before I did or you might be still looking!!

Nice!
Just be careful to not electrocute yourself when you use the pisser! :shocking:
You need more outlets in the right places.

You're welcome to come by and check it out if you like. I think I'm planing to move south next summer. From what i can tell now it might be vacant by august.

theres actually allot of outlets, and that one is about 5 feet from the pisser. lol! I have a power strip on the bench also, and theres another 4 plug outlet below it, then another two next to the door. theres 1 every 8 feet or so.

Is what i need to do is hang some reels from the celling with the lights on them.

to each his own.

As long as the land lord is cool with me dumping dirt there I'll do that, thanks for the input.

rent is dirt cheap. but hes a cool guy i don't think he will up the rent.

more toys

My buddy that works for Katech came by and dropped this off for the shop :)

Its shell race gas for the Lemans races. I think I'll use it for dirty rags or recyclable containers.

tried welding a pipe together, a little to much heat i know, I'll get better.

I had this bolted to the wall before i got the hoist, It was on hinges so i could store it flush with the wall. I'm going to get another set of legs so i can use it in the middle of the room now.
