Over the weekend, a friend of mine and my daughter helped me take a stab at installing my RaceDeck flooring. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but other life priorities kept getting in the way.
We completed everything in 4 hours, including laying down landscaping fabric and putting everything back into the garage. We were probably slower than most, but I was very pleased with the results. Due to the set-up of my garage, each wall required trimming/cutting tiles.
Garage: 2 1/2 car (465 square feet)
Colors: 1 black border and 1 red border. The checkerboard pattern was graphite and alloy (all in diamond cut). The paint on the walls were color matched at Home Depot to the sample tiles previously received.
Every part of the design, ordering, and installation went without a hitch. My family, friends, and neighbors have all been amazed at the transformation. Here are a few pictures of the progress.
