I've wrenched on cars as a sideline in my shop out back for years. I decided that I wanted to do something different...so I'm trying my hand at custom restos on golf carts.

Here's my first one on the lift. Got it stripped, ready to put a lift kit on it next.

Here's a pic of the custom paint job. I'll post pics when I'm done as well as other carts in the pipeline. I think I've got enough work lined up to keep me busy all winter.

Went a different direction on the body. Got the 12 volt wiring done, rear body installed and tires/rims picked out and mounted.

Didn't like the idea of cutting the body to install the tail lights but it went smoothly.

Cool garage, and build!! My mom and step-dad live in a retirement community in Florida. Golf carts are primary transportation and they all have them tricked out. What size lift kit did you put on it for those wheels? Did you have to change spindles, etc..?

Nice market.
You should do well.

But I really like the shop.
Bright and white.
Cathedral ceiling.
Door tracks follow the roof.

All the things we talk about.
