I see all the great projects all of you have done so I decided to finish my table. I put wheels on it so I can move it around the shop. The pictures do
not show that the legs are tapered.

Very clean design! I like the use of tube for the spreaders and the dogleg wheel supports. Do you have any 'in process' pics, dimensions, or a material list to share?

Looks nice, I too like the simplicity of the wheel design.

Did you taper the legs or what's that something you bought / found?

I made a fixture and sawed the 2x2 tubing at 45
I like the tubes at that height so I can use them for a foot rest. I have some hand sketches of the pivot and can give any dimensions if anyone wants them.

I really like that pivoting caster feature. Might have to do something like that myself. Thanks!

Very nice table. Could share the sketches of the pivots?

my jig table is 3/4" stainless topped steel plate rimmed with 3/8"x3"x3" angle iron.......can't have rubber wheels on it......they would immediately have flat spots:lol:
besides why would i move my table?
its right next to my welder and rod cabinet;)

I no longer have trouble moving my tables as I have a rough terrain fork and a skid steer. But in the old days I always put a short 5th leg in the center of the tables to use a floor jack on. A lot faster and cheaper than wheels and easier to retro fit to a existing table. Can also be offset to compensate for inbalance like a vice.

My wheels don't go flat as I keep them up except to move. Can someone tell me how to send a PM on this sight?

For moving stuff around the shop? The best money I have spent, is on my pallet jack! I can have the bridgeport, lathe, large cabinets, whatever I have at this time moved around the shop in very little time.
