Long time reader, first time posting. I had grown out of my 10 drawer craftsman and was looking to upgrade. I was pretty much sold on the Harbor Freight 44" box because of all of the great reviews. I used to be a mechanic, but now have moved to the IT field so this is just a box for my garage and ever growing tool collection.
Looking though local ads I saw this 50" MAC box for a mere $500. It was a body man's box so it has some over spray and spills on the exterior, but that does not really bother me. All of the drawers slide well, I took a shopvac and some simple green to it. All drawers have liners so I pulled them out and washed them. I am really happy with my purchase, I want to contact my local MAC rep and see about getting replacement drawer handle covers because these are pretty much shot.
