I have been working out of my portable boxes for a while and finally upgraded to something a bit bigger, unfortunately I have already filled it and need something bigger

These pictures are from when I first got the box, a few months ago, I have since purchased many more tools and re-arranged the drawers a bit. There will be no up to date photos for a while as my phone over heated and self-destructed but I will take better photos when i move it back to my place.

It is much more equipped now, and i can fit more in for sure it would just be nice to have more drawers to seperate things better. My multimeter, grease gun, and air/power tools share a drawer and it is just difficult to keep everything seperate. Plus the drawers are only 28" wide making some organizational methods a bit harder to pull off.

I should also mention that I am in highschool and doing my diesel tech apprenticeship right now as well

That box is awesome. I saw it somewhere up here for about 4-500, can't remember. Home Depot sells one, a Husky, that is the exact same except black. A couple buddies got the HD one. Very good quality for the price.

How much did you pay? I have been looking to find one for home since I love the colour, and having a Kubota box is pretty cool IMO.

I have been attempting to post this since those pictures were new but having troubles doing so (I was doing it on my phone) and now it is destroyed and cameras aren't allowed in the workplace. I am going to be bringing the box home in a week or so and new pictures will be added then.

I payed a bit under $500 Canadian and IMO it is worth every bit of it. Definitely not as nice as the Snap-on I was looking at and saving for but this way I have a box and still have money left to fill it :bounce:

my advice...........

wrenches...... sockets........ ratchets......

if you have the basic screwdrivers and pliers. you need more wrenches, sockets and ratchets. short, standard and long wrenches. then angles and extra long. sockets in standard and deep then mids. also ratchets, long, compact, stubby, flex and roto. the majority of jobs require sockets and wrenches. the more you have the better suited you are.

I have been looking into gray for a long time now but they don't have them available locally.

Craftsman tools are also hard to come by as the sears we have here is going under and only carries clothes.

Agreed, I have 3 new proto ratchets on the way in the mail including a flex head and spinflex :bounce:

As for wrenches they weren't all in the picture but I do need more, I have a set of gearwrench ratcheting wrenches in metric and SAE in standard length and stubby.

As for combination wrenches I have a metric set from 6mm-24mm and SAE from 1/4"-1" including some x/32 sizes and stubby wrenches in the parts compartments in the sides.

I have a small set of 'S' wrenches in metric and SAE as well as half moon wrenches in the same sizes.

The shop supplies tools so needing extras is not so bad but when I use them often enough I buy them for myself.

The box is home now, well the drawers are and with any luck the box will make a trip up before the end of the weekend. Pictures will be gotten as soon as we find the camera (we just moved and everything is still packed in boxes)

until then here is a teaser of the new black trim pieces that are being added (sorry for poor quality I am using an old cell phone)

the tekton bars are useless, hoping to replace them with craftsman or something soon, I bent the 24" bar with my hands so they will not be used

YB, are you still working out of this cart?

Are you still happy with it? I'm thinking on pulling the trigger on one.

I no longer work out if this box professionally, I brought it home and upgraded to a much bigger box. But after over a year of steady heavy use it is still holding strong, all slides and latches work like new. For the price I would recommend it for sure. In these pictures it is a cheap set from a hardware store, I have the ultra pro ones from napa now and they are way nicer and feel much sturdier. Looking at these photos makes me realize how many tools I have added in the last year, I'll get some updated pics soon of the new box and content
