You find a Home Depot around here that takes the HF 20% off coupons, speak up! I've tried almost every HD inside 270 and they all look at me like i'm crazy.

Must be a case by case basis. I have had no issues at a few Home Depots as long as it is tools that HF has a competing product. I've gotten the discount on power tools, wrenches, a table saw, levels, etc. with no issues.

Pittsburgh std and metric combination wrenches....
Normal length and x-long length....
Pittsburgh extensions....
Every CHROME extension Pittsburgh makes....
Complete set "composite" PRO series ratchets.... 1/4, 3/8 & 1/2

You're gonna break everything here except the composite ratchets. I kid I kid. It must have "pro" on the package for me to consider it otherwise it must be super cheap. But I also have even crappier extensions so I'm not one to speak. I go impact on the lower end tools if I can.

This guy is the one someone mentioned on the first page. Between the coupons, pass/fail thread, and the one I linked is what's gotten me to buy a couple things from HF whereas I refused to shop there before hand. Now I can say there are some things there that can compete with most tools for a majority of jobs. Obviously high quality tools have their place and there is no denying that, but the HF can get you by from my experience, and obviously MechanicNamedJohn, and quite a few others on the forum
