Holy **** that place is huge! Ok, here come the questions:

- What kind of epoxy?
- What type of opener is on that smaller door?

Thanks for all the compliments. The floor is 1 coat Armorseal 33, a layer of quartz, 2nd coat Armorseal 33,another layer of quartz, a coat of Armorseal 650SL and 2 coats of Rexthane. All Sherwin Williams products. The back 16'x8'x door and the side 8'x8'x door is for lawnmower,4 wheelers etc. and ventilation. The openers on the 8' doors are just standard openers mounted to the wall instead of the ceiling. the hi lift tracks are what makes it go up the wall. The 4 front doors are 14'x12'. This garage is a dream of mine since I was old enough to drive. It's my personal garage and my 2nd home since I spend all my free time in it. The size is 50' deep, 75' long and ceiling height is 17'6". The pic on page 4 #52 is my 1 of the central air line coupling and a drain below it(does look like a little door in the pic).

Thanks Bill

50 x 75 = 3750 sqft.
Bigger than my house, way bigger. Congrats, if I could talk the township and the wife into that structure, I would have built the same thing.

OldCarGuy...get any twitches when you heard Armorseal 33??

I believe that one of the batches of ArmorSeal 33 that I used was defective and caused the problems that I encountered. It transpired midway in application, and in two different garages using that same batch. And did not show up elsewhere. In fact, other than the short pot life, it went on without problems and looked far better than the topcoat of ArmorSeal 1000H. Unfortunately the 33 doesn’t have near the chemical resistance as the 1000H. From that experience I hold fast of not using the 33 and applying two (or more) coats of 1000H.

Certainly an extremely nice build and more in the lines of what I intended to do. But my city planning commission had hard heads. I had no alternative other than erect my garages in five sections.
