Took some scrap metal to the scrap yard this morning. While I was there I asked if they had any vises for sale. Someone had sold this Ridgid 6 inch Model 60FCPN for scrap. It weighs 154 lbs and is Made in USA. On the back has the number 102098 on one side and 206-1 on the other side. It is missing the pipe vise jaws, but other then that, it works great. Cost was 0.34/lb or just under 54 dollars. I had 20 dollars in scrap, so it only cost me 34 dollars. The fool that sold it, only got 0.06/lb for it.

Nice score:thumbup:!! Probably some tweeker scrapped it for a quick fix. I see it all the time, but the one scrap yard I go to will not let you buy anything that gets removed from a truck and into the scrap pile.

Jesus! The scrap yard! What's this world coming to? Somewhere there's a law against scrap yard vise removal in WV. You may have to return it...YOU ****!!
