Nothing fancy but I wanted to show everyone my new welding cart I built over the weekend. Base is 2 x 2 x 1/4. Uprights are 2 x 5 x 1/4. It holds a fabricators set of FireBall Tools welding squares, 2 grinders on the other side, a Milwaukee Fuel deep cut bandsaw on top, a HEM Femi 782xl bandsaw on the bottom, a Miller 211 welder in the middle, 8 pairs of ViseGrips across the back with room for more, along with assorted items. All shelves are recessed with aluminum diamond plate floors so items don't roll or fall off while being moved.
I want to thank everyone for the advise received on the welder and bandsaws. All is coming together slowly but surely. Also a shout out to Fireball Tools, Cyber Weld, CPO Milwaukee, and Trick Tools.

No one in their right mind would pay what I have in that cart if you added labor. I pin striped it last night. OCD kicking in.

Awesome rack for the vise grips! I have somewhere around 25 pairs and keep them clamped to the edge of a piece of the angle iron frame of the table. Always have to readjust them to clamp down on the angle. Looks like the vise grips are hanging by the adjusting nut. How did you make it? Can you show a pic of the side profile? Thanks.

Awesome build. Many years of use coming up for that cart.

Excellent job, I really like how you dealt with the vise grip too.

What about a spot for the welding gas cylinder ??? You plan on using flux core or stick only ?

bad_idea and LXCan the Vise Grip rack is not my design. I stole it off a pic somewhere. It is just a 12 in piece of 1 x 1 tubing 1/8 wall that I marked off and used a cutoff wheel to remove the center of one side the width of the threaded part of the adjuster screw. Was going to add to the Vise Grips but Rural King is not running them for 1/2 price on Black Friday like they have done for the last few years.

I bought most of my vise grips at swap meets. I have ~20 pairs of 11Rs I bought at an average price of $6 per. Around 10 pairs of 10Rs at ~$5 a pair. An assortment of other styles. Don't know what the swap meets are like down your way, they **** around me. I bought all of mine in San Diego while working out there over the years.

Awesome idea on the 1x1 square tube rack. Will have to work that into my weld table.

For those who asked, here is a pic of the grip rack up close. As I said nothing special just a strip cut out of a piece of 1 x 1.
