Hard to believe that I started this project about 9 months ago. First I rented a machine from Home Depot with the Diamabrush tool but it wouldn't touch the old coating on the floor. I ended up on my hands & knees with a 7' Diamabrush tool on a hand grinder. I finished removing the old coating this spring and waited until we had a stretch of dry days to get started. My garage is about 625 ft2 so I went with a larger kit so I wouldn't cut it close. The primer went down great and I only used 2 of the 3 gallons supplied.

Next came the pigmented Nohr-S. I got 3 gallons and used 2 gray and 1 white pigment pack to give a lighter gray color. My wife rolled the coating while I sprinkled the flakes. My tip here is to use a plastic jar (used a large peanut butter jar) with 1/2" holes in the lid. Very easy to get a uniform distribution of the flakes with this method.
Nearly ended up on my **** a couple of times while skating around on the spiked clip ons. Be careful when using these!
I let this dry for 3-4 hours and came back with the clear (used the fine anti-skid). It's very difficult to see where you have been with the clear. I put bits of tape along the wall every 6 feet or so to give me an idea of where I had already applied the clear.
The floor turned out great! My floor jack with steel wheels doesn't mark up this coating - it's tough! Very pleased with my floor!
