My old garage - tidy up (work in progress)

I've been spent 4 full days working on my detailing garage project.

This is only the first step. I didn't have much time.

The second one will be to clear out the shelf, replace it with a new one much smaller and finish to paint the walls. I'll also have to do another coat of paint.

I'm wondering to open another door instead the window. My wish is to have an access on the backyard and a place to wash the car close to my garage . Now i have to go on the front of the house where i have another garage to do it.

looks good...amazing what some paint and lights can do. I'd make it a drive-through if it will make washing the cars/backyard access easier. I plan on making my existing attached garage a drive-through to get to the future garage in the backyard.

BIG difference...

One other thing to help with the light, add a wire from one side of the garage to the other and make some "curtains" from bed sheets that can be pulled in front of the shelves. That way you can push them back to the sides out of the way and to get more even light on the hood and front of the car or pull them out and hide the shelves. That alone will add a lot of reflected light that is being soaked up by the darker wood. Do not paint those old shelves though, they give that garage a LOT of character.

Glad to see you post back up, I had wondered if you were still working on it.
