My Old Walker Floor Jack Left Me

That, or it was stolen out of the truck. Either way, it's a great jack, it's gone, and I'd like to find and purchase another just like it.

According to the tag, it was a model # J122. I never got around to photographing the Walker, but did luck out and find an old, green Sears version of the same jack some time ago (though that still needs a full rebuild). The swivel casters are a bit different from the other versions I've seen on GJ over the years, and I'm not sure how to describe them so you'll know what I'm talking about, so...photos:




Questions include:

What is this style of caster called, as it relates to Walker jacks?

If Hiball is taking a break from doing hydraulic repair work for the moment, who here offers expert, full-service jack repairs?

Where can I get another Walker J122 of this exact style?

I would describe them as crazy stupid expensive to replace, the Newer models use a threaded stem type. The one you have is a special order and your better off rebuilding it (IRC GJ Member Jeeper did a write up here), if at all possible. It's still a stem, but not threaded.

I'm with this guy. does it have something to do with we're both Massholes, we both wished this happened, lol.

sorry op, that *****. hopefully it finds its way back mysteriously. trying to be positive maybe someone just borrowed it 'real quick' without asking and may return it like that too. happened to a torque wrench of mine. specifically left it out during a job I went home for the weekend. came back and it was gone. few days later it mysteriously returned…found out maybe 2 months later from someone that they 'appreciated me letting them use my torque wrench'. to which i said *******, i had to borrow another from someone else to finish what i was doing! another reason i keep my box locked even at home now. albeit this wrench was out with the few I was using while doing the work so that wouldn't have mattered.

This one disappeared from the truck while I was out running errands. I've been keeping a much closer eye on things since that day, but have to consider the jack to be gone.

This particular swivel caster design has its drawbacks, but having a blue J122 equipped with it carries sentimental value.

Who here on the GJ offers expert, full-service jack repairs?

Also, any idea where can I get another Walker J122 of this exact style?
