Never totally finished my bench.

At this point we skip ahead, don't know what happened to the pics. You need to believe that the framework got welded together, powdercoated red, then mounted to the wall.

Pegboard is just normal masonite(?) pegboard. Took it to my brother who owns a body shop. Had him spray it with automotive primer/sealer, then urethane topcoat. It's shiny.

The bench top is maple. To fill the gap between the top and the pegboard we are going to make a maple veneer backsplash. Buddy has a saw that we can split this board to 3/8" thick and then glue it to a common 2x8 giving the illusion of a solid 2" backsplash.
