Many here seem to know the problems that came about after the failure of the TLPPC product. Justin has done his best to remedy the situation but has not been given much info to work with. I would like to make it clear that Justin had offered a full refund!!
Saying that I contact the manufacturing company yesterday and was given zero info. After a 10 minute conversation I was told repeatedly that she could not legally tell me anything because the insurance company was involved. I was furious!!!! They told me I HAD to speak to Justin. I explained that I have but that he was not receiving much info from her company.
Today I decided to contact the insurance agent via phone. First let me say she was very nice and seemed to be very honest. I told her how the company refused to talk to me for legal reasons. She told me that was **** and they can talk to me about whatever they want. She did tell me it is a very complicated situation because many people were effected by this. She stated that almost everyone effected is in a different state and what they legally have to cover differs from state to state. She stated that the process had made it through two of the three departments that it needs too. Unfortunately the last person that needs to see it is out of the office. She said she is honestly hoping the beginning to the middle of next week. So hopefully we will get an answer soon.

She has not told me the next week line (yet) this week, but we heard it last week and the week before that.....

Next week, again. Remind me not to be a customer of liberty mutual either. Anyone decide what to do with their floors next?

Pretty sure they are the ones who had my families insurance policy after Sandy and I would definitely agree!

Yesterday I actually got a call from the manufacturer. I am not going to go into details in a public forum, but I think this is truly coming to a conclusion. I think a fire has been lit and I think they (the manufacturer) understand the severity of the situation and are a little hand tied by the ongoing claims process.

I appreciate everyone's patience and this continues to be my top priority

One question, what is this insurance going to do for us with failed floors?

I already had Justin give me a refund, but will this insurance be covering my costs to prep the floor again?

It looks to me like they are spending a lot of time/ money to make sure that they only pay the minimum amount required by law in the state where you live.

And you would expect less from an Insurance company ? Them and lawyers, politicians are pretty much all they same types. Maybe not the individual but the corporate view is always save a buck not spend it ;(

It would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. I was hoping to have this resolved soon so I can plan to do the replacement.

That's exactly how insurance companies operate yet they will spend millions of dollars to lure you over to them vs paying out when a member has an issue.
