No, you are coming across as an *******. It may not have been your intent, but that's how your posts read typically.

Do you see anyone else using multiple colors or different size fonts to get their point across?

Do you see anyone else throwing out google searches on every other thread they post in?

How about telling people to fill in their location when it has nothing to do with their question?

As was said, get over yourself. It's not your freaking job to "educate" here. Put your suggestions out there without telling people what to do and let them decide if they want to consider them or not. Just about everyone on this site is an adult. Cripes man.....

Apologies OP and I love your system! Nice work.

The drain is a good idea. I'd run it a little longer and attach it to the pallet. I think about doing to my 80 gal most times I squat down to drain and then go do the job and forget.
Though I was going to do it in iron. Plastic would be better.
Wheres that scrap pvc? LOL

I was looking into this and couldn't find if the Rapid Air Maxline systems are rated for UV exposure. They are High Density Poly Ethylene which I did find listed that black color HDPE pipes are best in the sun.

PEX is listed as not good for direct UV exposure. I'm thinking that in my shop they shouldn't get too much UV. If I was going to use them outside I would definitely not use PEX.

Here is what I found in the Duratec Airline manual(Maxline is a copy of) on UV exposure of that line.
"Exposure to Sunlight"
"Duratec pipe contains UV stabilizers and antioxidants that provide protection against UV degradation for a period of up to 2 years continuous exposure in southern climates such as Florida. For long term exposure >2 years, IPEX recommends permanently shielding the pipe from UV radiation. Duratec"
"pipe can be painted with a water-based latex paint."

Apparently CNG Saves didn't think so. He had to send me a private message for "attacking" him and included a bunch of links on why not to use PVC as airline. He was sure to use plenty of big fonts and different colors as well.
Apparently his arrogance assumes that anyone trying to tell him to chill out is a defender of PVC air systems, and therefore they must be educated too.

Edit: CNG Saves, next time you feel the urge to PM someone and "educate" them consider this. This site is full of people who are at the graduate level of many topics that come up here, not kindergarteners. Give them a little respect and stop assuming that they don't know anything. My airlines are made of copper. I knew the possible outcomes of using PVC long before Al Gore decided that he invented the internet, so I don't need some putz on the web trying to tell me something because he assumes that he's the only one that has a brain. I don't need you "saving" me. Nobody does for that matter, so as has been said many times, get over yourself.
