A year ago I started a new pole building 24'x40'. I used my 1951 8n with a post hole digger for the holes. Then used same with lift boom to set the poles. I put the rear mounted scoop to get a mix of sand and gravel from a creek on my place to tamp the poles .

I used doubled 2"x12" on top of the poles for girts hung with joist hangers. One on the inside and the other on the outside. Did this between all poles lengthwise and used one between the poles on each end. Then used 2x6's for ceiling joists.

They are coming, I can only post one picture at a time for some reason. Those 2x12's are heavy so I used a couple of rope blocks to hoist them. The 16 footers were used for walkways to hang rafters. I am doing 90% of this alone.

A pic of the rafters. The end rafters are a 2x6 lower than the rest to give support to the overhang.

I have the roof on and some of the floor. Had to do some work on grand daughter's car.

I am getting some osb sheathing installed along with some doors and windows. The doors are for a sorta loading dock and the windows were free. I am going to cover the osb with tar paper. I have some red cedar for the siding over the osb.
