Looks nice I see you literally just put the bendpak together, and it appears to be not bolted down, did you put it over the racedeck and is that how it will stay? In other words, is there any concern with the racedeck under the lift?

I did just finish the build. Good observation.

I did bolt it down with 2 redheads (supplied by bendpak) on each post. As per RD, the lift goes right on the RD. They are rated for compresion strengthof 10,000 PSI. With the car on the lift, total weightis around 4800 pounds. 1200 per post with a 10x12 pad. That is 10psi. tightend the redheads as per instructions and everything looks good.

Nice job !

Like the cabinets, any info on them?

Thanks for the compliments!

Rubbermaid I think... I would never buy them again. They are pressboard. Had to remove legs and add wheels. Shelves would fall - had to put screws in them for permanent positioning. Look good on outside, but low quality.

My 4-post lift has been on top of my racedeck tiles for close to 15 years now (not sure when I bought them, well over 10 years ago), no issues at all. Since I have the caster kit for my lift even though i have never used them after the first day to see how they worked, I don't want to bolt down my 4-post. Racedeck at the time when I purchased my tiles told me the lift on top was fine and it has been.

Thanks!!! Here'a better quality pic of the setup. I added some led lighting under the lift and I'm looking for a motion detecting switch that will work with the power supply.

Ewjax: as everyone is saying your garage and especially your floor and Porsches look awesome. might i ask what you have for daily drivers that park in the 2 car portion of your garage?

did you special order the colors of the Race Deck or do they have that in stock?

This is great looking and well done. I am preparing to build a new detached garage. I don't want to seem out of line, but would you mind sharing the cost of the floor? It would give me some idea of what to budget for myself.
I was also curious as to why you put the weed barrier down underneath the floor? What purpose does it serve?

RaceDeck provides GarageJournal members direct pricing. I cannot post the pricing here for that reason. Build your floor and contact them for a quote.

As for the weed barrier, it reduces any 'clacking' between the flooring and the concrete...

My daily driver is an F250... doesn't fit in the garage. :(

Build the floor on their site and contact them for pricing.

Thanks for all the compliments!
