My RaceDeck floor installed!

I just received my RaceDeck flooring last week and took the opportunity to install it over the weekend. I went with a graphite border and alloy fill and love how it came out. The installation was super easy, just click click click into place. I still have some cutting to do in a few areas but I will save that for another day to complete it. I have always wanted a garage floor that looks like this and I am so happy I finally took the plunge.

now that you have had it for a while, how do you get the dust/dirt out of the slots when it drops in? or is that not an issue?
or do you just hose it out? we have a condo, cant hose it out, but like the look so trying to figure out if it would work or not

Honestly I dont really think about it. I am not tracking in a considerable amount of dirt and dust, but if I wanted to clean it out a shop vac should be able to **** up anything through the grates.

Looks great! What kind of gap did you use with the free flow? I have an all free flow floor on the way (ordered yesterday) and thinking about how it will actually end up. I am doing a border a couple tiles in but realize to get it centered I am going to likely be cutting both sides unfortunately/

Not the OP, but I used a 3/8" gap on my 1000 sq ft FreeFlow install and it's been fine. It definitely does not expand in sunlight like the Diamond Tiles I've had on other garages. Pro tip, if you go to Lowes or Home Despot, the little square of wood/laminate flooring they have for free make great spacers during your install! Grab a handful of samples and you're all set!

To be honest my gaps are probably a little uneven all around. I was willing to leave an inch or so gap in some areas to avoid extensive cutting. Most of my garage items (garbage cans, standing shelves, etc) are kept against the walls so much of the gap is covered up that way.

Looks great. I like how free-flow gives the impression of more colors in the design.

I recall that in the past some users installed Racedeck over landscape fabric to reduce the noise level. Is this still an acceptable approach ?

Having had both diamond tile and freeflow RaceDeck floors, I will tell you that it's not needed on the open FreeFlow tiles. On my prior solid diamond tile floor, I did use nonwoven landscape fabric and it did a nice job of quieting the "clack-clack" of the floor. On my current FreeFlow floor, there is no fabric and there is no noise at all.

If you drop a screw does it fall through? If you spill something can you open up in the middle or do you need to work to the spill from an end?

If you drop a screw it gets caught in one of the ribs and is easily retrieved vs. bouncing all over the place. I just tested this today when I dropped 4 1" screws and they all landed right at my feet, trapped in the tile ribs.

For spills, you can easily take a putty knife and pop up one or more tiles if you need to get underneath them to clean up.

Like how you broke it up. I will most likely go with graphite, alloy and red. I will be doing my garage when my home is completed later this year. Still up in the air about solid vs free flow. I live in Sacramento. Get some rain, but nothing crazy. Other than that, pretty dry year-round.
