Wow!
You, my friend, have a serious SO ratcheting screwdriver fetish.

Heck, I've got a ratcheting green std. length & stubby green soft grips and an orange standard ratcheting hard handle and feel like the $200 I've spent was too much.

For the $1.5k in drivers you have there I would have lots o other fun tools.

Awesome, are the ones with the 1/4 drive end more rare?

From what I've seen, they're not as common. The rarity doesn't seem to drive the price up, though.

All were purchased used for no more than 75% of retail. I use most of them - don't use the greens and blues much because they're not made any more. They're spread out in several toolboxes. The pink one the wife claims is "hers."

I was thinking the same thing on that light blue one to. Any body know when that one was in production or if it was a special edition for something?

Nice collection you have!

Nice collection you have!

That particular blue one was made for Pentastar Service Equipment 25th anniversary ('72 - '97)

It features a "bubble sticker" on the side.

It also has a chromed shaft instead of the machined stainless (Blue on left, regular orange on right.

Thanks for letting me show off!

Ya know, I thought it was bad when I had 3 of them, so I sold 2. One on here and one to a buddy locally. Vises and Ratchets on the other hand......

Forgive my ignorance and I'm not being a smart *** but in what instances do you use these things? If I'm tightening or loosening multiple screws I typically use an battery powered drill. Just trying to determine if I could use one of these. Thanks

The yellow one is the nicest. The pink too. I would go for either of those first. Orange is too pedestrian. Alas, I only have one black one.

I never bothered buying one until I started doing a lot of automotive trim and interior work and custom fit-outs.

They speeded up work immensley, have a magnetic tip in the shaft that magnatizes your bit and holds screws ad prevents their being lost, and if screwing in fasteners that need need less torque than a drill, they are perfect. Change bits and they take apart electronics or fix furniture.

Ergonomic grip is great and lifetime warranty for internals from Snappy truck.

I have several and am sad that I didn't stumble upon them sooner in life.

i only have an old black handled driver :(

it gets mostly around the house use, swapping electrical outlets and switches.

i do have a couple of black handled T drivers, one for 1/4" bits, another in 1/4" dr for sockets.

would like to have a dark blue and ornage handles to go along with my screwdriver sets.
nice collection btw

I have the JH Williams version of the Snap-On waiting at home, can't wait to get back and check it out. It was $31 including shipping.

Yeah, there's no worldly reason to have as many as I do, but they are handy in certain instances. I specifically like the stubbies as I don't ever have to release the handle to re-grip the driver when I'm working in tight quarters.

And with as many loose screws as I got, I need all the screwdrivers I can get!:lol_hitti

quite the ratcheting rainbow you have there!! I'd post mine but it'd only pale in comparison!!! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my latest one though. It's like the mini orange/black one you posted above except it's all orange. I'm also searching for a decent deal on green, yellow and red. The clear one would be nice but I don't want to remortgage the house for one! I noticed my truck guy had a grey (or silver) and red one on the truck yesterday so I may snag one of those next week.

anyways, well done!!

Those yellows are killing me. I bought a set of hard handles moons age, which have long been used up. I want a yellow ratcheter bad!

You need a blue with white caps, one. It was a Crusty Wallace edition.
