Hey Guys,
Thought I would share my recent garage epoxy adventure as well.
After fighting off nearly 2 months of rainy weather here in “sunny” Los Angeles, I was able to get my garage finally completed thanks to a local installer (https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/re-floor-the-epoxy-flooring-company).
I am happy to report everything went well and I am pretty ecstatic with the results. Just like many have recommended here, the floor was ground down and the curb walls were basically reformed with concrete in order to give it a smoother finish.
The epoxy brand used was Kretus “top shelf “ epoxy (100% solids) with their polyaspartic top coat. I went with a light gray color with "Lasorda" color chip combo from http://www.questbuilding.com/. Only 10lbs of chips were used. As the guys worked away on my garage, I picked up my SLR and started shooting around. The pics will tell the story, but wanted to add that the coating really woke up the garage space and the effect from my 16 canned lights really improved.
Thanks!
