We need a word, with a positive connotation, that means "to make better than new."

No way did that vise look like that even the very day it left the factory!

Now that is pretty ! I have one myself, keep looking at the rust and old original Green paint, and keep on looking, and looking, thinking when I stop looking long enough, I'll put it in the blast cab and have at it !
