Found this in the scrap dumpster at work.Pulled it out and decided to restore it. Of course the rightful owner eventually made himself known. "What are you doing with that piece of ****?" To which my reply was...."Man you threw this out??" " This thing is worth about $100?" I know its not but i love to make people like they got dooped !!! it will look good on my bench with my other vintage vises

Nice save and nice job cleaning it up!

Looks like it's missing the lower pipe jaw insert - I bet you could find one fairly easily though.

Thanks!. yes it is missing the lower jaws. i think 2 pieces fit in there. But i could think it is being shipped to China and turned into junk. if anyone has the pieces let me know!

I have the whole thing, but it was from an auction "Lot" and is rusted, looks like corn flakes glued to it. I need to soak it in something probly for a while.

That would go perfectly with the Reed pipe threader that I picked up at a garage sale a while ago.
