Finally decided its time to post the building and development of what will be my retirement shop. The project actually is two buildings - one a multi-shop and the other a boat shed that could be eventually be enclosed and made into shop garage. The project was made somewhat easy cause the site is pretty flat and located in the south (SC). Multi-shop 24x65x9 and boat shed 24x40x12

Second Phase - Buildings. I decided to go with Carolina Carports. Understand there's not much love for this company but did my homework and know that these building are on the lower end but also know that I can improve on the quality of the building .......... plus it work well with the budget.
Took a crew of four 2 twelve hour days to get them up but was very satisfied with the end result.

FIRST DAY:

So this is where I am now. Since the completion I have added a 100 amp service and a water supply. My first project this fall will be to get the floor sealed. After that, I can take my time and having fun putting the shop(s) together. Right now, I leaning toward making two shops out of it .... Equipment storage/metal shop and a woodworking shop. Will put a office in between for separation.
And hoping to incorporate some great ideas I see on GJ.

Thanks!! Our house in only nine mile from the ocean "as the crow flys" but still 40 mins to get to the beach by car. But that is OK, just means we don't have to deal with all the madness during the vacation months. Out in our area .... there's not many around which is just fine with me.
I will keep updating as thing progress!

I had to google where that town is - looks like your on the coast.

You could try putting in some exhaust fans and some ceiling fans.

All that space looks awesome, and I like the red roof.
