My Router Outer!

Brand new Bosch MRC23EVSK router just plain stopped working after less than 1 hour of run time, probably a lot less. Got it earlier this week and was about 4 hours into first project. Completed a series of cuts, no problems. Reset my jig for another pass and just one click from motor and nuttin'. Tried cleaning the dust off, turning power off letting it cool and reset, nothing, same click. Tried in the other base and nuttin'.

Called Bosch and said first they heard of this.

Bought through Amazon with CPO outlets and so far CPO has been great about making it right. New one one the way as the dead one is making its' way back to them. Should pass each other around north Carolina or Virgina.

Bummer, nothing like being in the middle of a project and then have to stop because of a brand new tool.

I was debating on getting the bosch or the porter cable and ended up with the porter cable because menards had a sale on it.

That is a pain, atleast service is good. Had to use CC# or they trusting you?
I have 2 Porter Cables that work fine. Just bought a C'man 1.25hp for $5.00 as is.

I am an Amazon Prime member and they probably know that. When I had a return before for a bad part sold directly by amazon, I had 30 day to return the bad one as they immediately sent a new one.

They verified the shipper had printed the shipping label at the drop off center and they have a box. They are trusting I sent the right thing back!! I assume they have some recourse through Amazon if I scammed them???
