I started building my shop back in Oct. 2005 and I'm not done with it yet:dunno:! I've built it by myself but, my wife insisted I get help putting up the trusses after she caught me putting them up alone (already had put up 4 trusses). Man, that woman was mad at me!!!
Hope I do this right!

Shop details are listed in my intro post too.
Details: 1080 sq. ft. (24 x 40 w/ 6 x 20 bump out in the back), 10 ft. walls (10 in. thick with R-30), ceiling has a raised area in the center bay (12ft.-4in. for car hoist) and the insulation is at R-38. I have run a sewer line, water line, natural gas line, telephone line, cat-5 line, and a cable TV line. It has a 100 AMP service, high efficient gas furnace, AC, and a 5 horsepower/60 gallon air compressor. Concrete floor (with footings for a two post hoist) but it's not top coated yet. Many 100W CFL's so I'll have no (or very little) shadows while doing layout work.

Must be my "sometimers" acting up! The walls are 7 in. thick /w R-20!
