Hey guys. I've been lurking for a looonnnggg time here and it's time to make my first post! I've finally decided to refresh (actaully it's really just finishing what should have been done when the shop was built 5 years ago) my shop.

The shop is 26x32 and has become a cluttered mess. The plan is a complete repaint, clean out some junk and build as many cabinets as needed to hide the parts, peices, etc that one thinks he has to have....

The red car is dad's. The shop is not usually this cramped.

These were taken a week or so ago. I have since completely wrecked the place! Two walls are painted, ceiling is painted, but it will be slow going now that the kids are back in school. I will post progress as it happens.

Thanks
Robb

Jeez...what a trash hole. To help you out I will take both of the Camaros off of your hands:bounce: Just kidding. That place looks spotless compared to some. Nice space BTW. Looking forward to the new and improved pics. And how about a couple more of the rides.

Thanks for the comments. The pics look better than it is. The top half of the walls and ceiling were just primer and marked extremely easily. Everything is dingy and dirty from lots of grinding, welding, etc and doesn't wash up very well. I crack filled and painted the shop the first time while the car was at the body shop and I ran out of time before it came back. As for working in the shop, this is a pure workshop. Someday I would like to build on a showroom/car stoarge peice, but you know how it is... :dunno:

Here's a better pic of my car. 68 Camaro. 406 SBC. Corvette brakes. 18" wheels, etc. If anyone has questions or wants more detail, let me know.

Thanks again

Thanks to everyone for the comments.

I don't have any updated pics yet, but I finished painting the walls and what a difference! The walls are semi-gloss white with the standard red stripe around the middle but they seem to have added another 10-15% more light to an already brightly lit shop!! Dad thinks we could perform brain surgery in here.... my wife thinks somone should have done that to me years ago!!:lol_hitti

I won't get much done this week as we're heading out to the Nextel Cup race in Loudon, NH. More pics in a couple weeks.

Thanks
Robb
