Well I have purchased my first house and it has this pole barn next to it. A previous owner put a loft on one side and left the other open with a garage door. Anyway here is a picture

[/IMG] The part that has the sliding door and the loft is my man cave. Its 21'x26'. The bad part is it has 7' ceilings in it. I have to finish out the electrical and insulated and finish it all. I was going to raise the ceilings, but I dont work on cars, besides our daily drivers. I am more of a metal worker. I would show pictures of the inside, but its a complete disaster from when we moved lol.

But I do have a question, since I have 7' ceilings, I would like to flush mount lights. What would you guys recommend for flush mountable? I have researched and I am thinking T8s. I have seen that lowes has them, but Im not sure if there is anything better out there or not? Any input on that would be awesome!!

Thanks,
Chris

Welcome to GJ. We need more pics of the new shop. You have to have a starting point somewhere.

I have some T8 strip lights in my garage, a 4 bulb fixture . . . 8' long, two bulbs end to end.

I installed the same 4 bulb, 8 ft. T8 strip fixtures (8' long, two bulbs end to end) in my new shop and love them. The strip fixtures are flush mounted to the ceiling and, although I can't get you an actual measurement at this time, I doubt that they extend further down from the ceiling than 4 in.
