Well, We've been moved in about 4 months and open about 3. Thought I would share some pics with you guys. As I've mentioned in other threads, we started this business out of my garage at home and built it into this without any business loans :bounce: So, even though there are a lot of things I'd like to do in the shop, sometimes progress seems slow as it requires cash flow to make upgrades.

Air lines are all plumbed with 3/4" black pipe with 1/2" drops, down to a regulator/filter with a 3-way manifold. There are drops behind the tire machine, next to each Chest, in the engine/suspension room, and a capped drop for future expansion between the parts washer and the first lift. I found all of the info for plumbing them through this site :)

Anyway..... On to the pics!

This is kind of what it looked like when we moved in... Except there was a room where the Lifts are. We knocked it down at 2am the night we moved in.

This is what it looks like now: We just finished the upstairs storage loft today and built/painted shelving up there. So tomorrow will be organizing time!

Behind the Corrugated Doors is the Customer waiting area that we're still building out. Also a door that leads into the office, a bathroom, and the Engine and suspension room.

And this is what the Craigslist Fairy brought me last week. Both Snap-on $100 for the pair. They were hardly ever used it seems.

And all of this go into building projects like this: (my pride and joy by the way!)

Hope you guys like the pics!

Nice place -- that took a lot of hard work. It shows you guys are dedicated and don'r mind rolling up your sleeves.

Good luck with the business -- remember this:

1) Cash flow is your most important priority
2) Get a good accountant
3) Good customer service is what keeps you in business

Great looking shop. And thanks too, for the pix of the tool organization. You've given me some ideas. My wife just found me my first "real" toolbox at a yard sale. It's a 3 tier Craftsman that I can't even see inside the top shelf of and I'm 6'1". Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how I want my meager set of tools (99% hand-me-downs from my Dad, my Grandfather, and a Great Uncle) to fit in these boxes.

Thanks for the kind words guys. There are 3 of us a partners. 2 of us do most of the work, the 3rd is the business manager. It's been working really well. We can each concentrate on what we do best for the business.

There is actually plenty of lighting, I just didn't turn them all on for some reason when I was taking pics. Duh!

I found it at Osh. Was around $6.00.

I noticed though that Sears does carry the exact same one in the small garage organization section. Not with the chest organizer stuff. Makes sense because they are owned by the same parent company.

Great work and good luck with you business.

I make only one recommendation as to what type of payment to receive from your customers: Payment to be only in CIF (Cash in Fist)...LOL

HAHAH yeah, if you don't show up with cash or a credit card, your bike isn't leaving the shop. Period.:see:
