just saying before others do that we need more pictures. lots more pictures. also dimensions or a floor plan because as I've already said that design you have there looks great.

She is actually older than me. But she is half the age of my Dad who is in the picture. He helped me frame it.

I'll see what else I have for pics. I'm away at work right now so be a couple weeks before I can take any more

Its roughly 1600ft. The long side of the "L" is 40' x 50'. The 40 section is 26' wide with a 10000lb inground hoist in the center. The 50 section is 16' wide.

Your not going to believe this. BUUUTTTTT, building the shop first and living in it while we built the house was her idea. I suggested renting and building but she insisted that was a waste on money. ANNNNDDDD she insisted that it be big enough for the motorhome. So after that everything else was easy. I wanted it to look like something other than a big metal box so the 2 sides you cant see are tin. But the rock and stucco side faces the yard and is the same finish the house is getting.

drivesitfar I actually designed it and drew it up. Fortunately where I live it is considered a agricultural building and it was built without any permits. Only thing design wise it cost me was for the beam sizing. Friend of a friend has a engineering company and sized it for me. I originally was going to put a post in that inside corner to support everything. But damn I'm glad I didn't.
