Haven’t seen any Stahlwille DBE's in this thread.
Pics from few years ago.

Comparing Series 14 combination to "stabil" and the "corona" series.

Same wrenches different angle

These have been my go to wrenches at work since I got them. Stahlwille Corona DBE. Love them!

I picked this beauty up from Bobcat753 tonight as he was stopping by to look at my air compressor. He bought the compressor and I got a 1987 Snap-on deep offset DBE, 9/16" x 5/8"!! Thanks, BC!

Today's DBE is unique! A Thorsen 302 ignition wrench, 5/8" on both ends. I found it in an Illinois antique mall for $6.50.

Edit: Outlaw pointed out below that this is actually a distributor wrench (bigger), not an ignition wrench (tiny).

That may be the most I've ever paid for any one of my wrenches, but it was too unique to pass up.

:spit: Wasn't what I was thinking when I read "Ignition wrench" on my Email notice!

I think that is a distributor wrench (so technically ignition) no clue why the same size both ends...

I thought you meant like the two small ones here:

You are probably right, Outlaw. I think the tag said "Ignition", but "Distributor" is probably correct. I couldn't find squat on it over at Alloy Artifacts. Google doesn't seem to know about it either.

Found some more while looking for my cotter pin puller.....

Todd -

It's a shame I don't live in Woodbridge anymore. If I did, I would bring my wife over to your garage and tell her, "honey, I don't have a tool problem; THIS is what our garage would look like if I did!"

Todd did a video "tour" of his shop at some point - might serve your purposes well.

BP: so true.

I bet Twertsy is like me though and you'd have to make a few stops to storage units so you could see the REAL STUFF. did you notice Twertsy has floor space. how the heck does one do that and have that many tools unless he has a 40 x 120 shop or storage units.

just saying.

Twertsy: I bet you have a few more and i'm working on getting some of mine out for pictures and i'd have to use my wife's part of the garage that is about the only floor space available in my garage.

thanks for sharing all your tool finds with us.

Drives: awesome--can't wait to see the collection! BTW, I'll be in Seattle-Tacoma with time to kill tomorrow afternoon. I plan to hit up this sale. Is this anywhere near you?

BB: that sale is about an hour drive each way for me on a good day and Saturdays that are sunny won't be a good day on the roads around here. sorry I don't go to many of those sales and haven't bought a good vise at one in maybe 2 or 3 years now. I hope you find something there, but it didn't look old enough for my taste.

man you are on an AMERICAN PICKERS type of adventure aren't you? one day when I'm ORGANIZED i'd love to drive across country and see the sites and a few members. I'd like to meet you but my almost or maybe torn ACHILLES TENDON has me so behind that i'm working all weekend this week.

I'll try to get some of my stuff finally out of buckets and old tool boxes so I can take a few pictures and actually find some stuff I didn't remember where I put or had.

take care and good luck at the sales

Nope, just one shop, no storage units. Actually, all the tool boxes I've bought have been an immense help, and building the mezzanine was a life saver in terms of space. The taco cart is really the only box that's a bit in the way, but that's how it's designed. I built shelves about 10' up the wall that got all my box sets up and out of the way.

These are dangerous grounds for me. I feel like I should have avoided this thread like the plague ,lol.

I have enough wrenches and try to not collect more. Keyword try. Sometimes I even like when they are over priced at sales. ;)

With that being said, BB suggested I post these two recent finds.

One is a PERFECTION , an old Western Auto brand.

NO.P-25 9/16 X 1/2, chromium vanadium.

The other is a Merit, an old Sears brand. The Merit has the Vlchek star symbol.

7/16 x 3/8 chrome molybdenum.

^According to AA, Merit wrenches are from throughout the 30's. These box wrenches are dated 37-38 on there. I used to have a small Merit table top anvil. I assume that was through Sears too.

Thanks for posting, 3bay. We'll unabashedly feed your DBE addiction!

I picked up these three at an estate sale in Puyallup, WA, today on my way to the airport.

Wards Lakeside offset, 5/8" x 3/4" & 1/2" x 9/16" These seem identical to several Eclipse brand wrenches I have. The larger one has been bent and may not be restorable without applying heat.
Wizard H-2240 6-pt offset, 3/8" x 7/16"--really shiny!

Got them for a quarter apiece!

Here are all the tru-fit wrenches I could find. The two larger wrenches have a single digit, and the smaller one looks to have a 2-3 digit code, but I can't make it out.

None of them, oddly enough I don't believe I have have any of the lectrolite tru-fit marked wrenches. Here is a pic of the other side of the two larger wrenches.

I think have one of the RP Deep offsets, but I think mine is only Labeled Lectrolite.

Nice set of Williams, I was really impressed on how solid they feel, been considering filling in my set as one once I finish some other sets. Until then I'm trying to limit myself to ones I can find locally.

It's been a few weeks, but I finally added to the DBE collection. The Crew Line and Sears wrenches came by way of garage sale and the others came from my favorite pawn shop. As usual, I am most excited about adding to my P&C collection (the rusty wrenches in pic 3) and the 6pt Barcalo Buffalo wrench. Also rather fond of the long handle Sears 1/4" DBE.
