Here's the only one I could find.
As the house is so old , the opening was not built to accomdate any standard sized doors .I built these from 2X4 frames that were joined by tenons , skinned the front with 3/4 " plywood and faced the inside with bead board .

I also insulated the cavity .

All I've seen in Rona and Home Depot, etc (on Vancouver Island) was the automotive floor epoxy, which I believe is waterbased. :-/

Home Depot and Rona carry the water based product.

Acklands Grainger has the solvent based/Professional product in stock in Edmonton . Your local branch can get for you in a couple of days .

You should also order some # 108 Rustoleum Clean and Etch.
I'd get enough to do your floor twice to be sure that it's got the correct profile to enable the epoxy to grip and that all traces of dirt/oil etc. are removed .

Well , I used 6 standard fluorescent fixtures with the daylight tubes over the car.
Over the bench I have 7 halogen pot lights .
Under the cabinets I have 8 small halogen down lights .
Over the doors I installed two extra halogen pot lights .
Each is individually switched to give several options.

As many have said , "you can't have too much light !"

I used Safe and Sound insulation. Makes the garage really quiet from the rest of the house and also provides extra protection in case of fire .
The brand I used is made by Roxul.

That's an interesting site. But I don't see the Safe & Sound product listed.

Did you use the Roxul with regular insulation ?

Has anybody else used this stuff?

It is used in place of regular insulation at interior walls where sound isolation is a priority It doesn't get used as insulation in exterior walls because it isn't thick enough to completely fill stud cavities. A 3" batt in a 3 1/2" void creates a small air space that helps stop sound transmission.

We use it all of the time at work in commercial construction as a sound insulation between offices. The fire resistance qualities are an added bonus.

No , I just used 3 coats , which probably contributes to the amount of shine.
I thought about the clear but I liked the the semi -gloss look.

For the limited space you had to work with you did a great job  , I'd be interested in how well the expoxy flooring holds up after a year of use. Again, great job.
